Matrix Fighter follows the motion picture Matrix. You are in control of the protagonist Neo. Neo will shoot and fight with the sword automatically, if you adjust it in the game menu, so your only task is to navigate Neo through the different settings. In the game, you are floating above the city and will meet several agents or monsters, and it‘s your task to kill them. Your score is displayed on the lower left, on the right you can find your frames per second (FPS). They have no influence on the game. On the top you can see your lives remaining, when all lives are gone, your game ends and you can submit your score. Mouse and keyboard control Neo. The left mouse button makes Neo shoot, press the space bar to use your sword. Avoid being hit by the agents‘ bullets, it‘ll cost you lives.
